Quidley Amps is a site we created to promote a local guitar amplifier maker, Ed
Quidley. The Quidley Amp is a piece of art, and we wanted to reflect this with
his site. Using Web 2.0 techniques we were able to achieve a soft, but powerful
website that conveys the idea of the Quidley Amp. Using Coldfusion and Flash
they are able to update their news items using a backend software written
specifically for this site. This site also includes a completely custom MP3
player.
Youcancervive is a social networking site specifically designed for cancer
patients and their friends and families. A unique approach was taken with this
site because of the target age group. This site is extremely complex, but very
user friendly. This site shows the power of a small, well designed site being
coupled with a monstrous database to allow for multiple users accessing the same
pages in completely different ways.
GoSurfCity is a site hosted by Surf City in Wrightsville Beach, NC. This site
includes some great features including: A surf cam on Wrightsville Beach, and a
completely custom video player and rating system. This site allows users to
create accounts and vote on their favorite videos. The videos, store products
and surf report are all controlled through a backend application used by the
staff a Surf City to make changes to the site in real-time.
